Leah Patrick

Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Leah, and I am a registered midwife based on the North Shore. I am passionate about supporting you and your family through pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.

I value partnership and connection, and my approach to your care is grounded in compassion, support, and communication. My goal is to ensure you are well-informed to be able to make confident choices individualised to you.

I work with a team of like-minded midwives at The Cottage Midwives, and in collaboration with other health professionals and services when needed to ensure best care possible to you and your whānau. My goal is to support you to have a positive birthing experience, and I support hospital births at North Shore Hospital, waterbirths, VBACs, and in well-women with low-risk pregnancies, homebirths where desired.

My clinics are held on Thursdays in Northcote.
