Congratulations on your pregnancy! What an exciting time for you and your family. This is an amazing special time in a family's life and I feel privileged being a part of this. I am a mother of two beautiful young girls. I am passionate about providing individualised, woman centred care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and will empower you throughout your experience into becoming a parent. I believe birth is a normal, physiological process and will encourage this process to occur without intervention when appropriate, providing safe care. I am familiar with the hospital setting, however, additionally I love supporting women who choose to birth at a primary birthing unit or at home. I also have a passion for water births. I work at The Cottage Midwives with a supportive team of midwives who share a similar philosophy to me. Our clinic is based in Northcote.
